The St James Day Tripper, was set up to raise funds for the St James' Church in Blackburn, and ran for 19 years to all kinds of destinations, but due to falling passenger numbers the venture wasn't worth while, so the last one came and guess what....it was over subscribed with a waiting list.
Here we see 48151 getting the train ready for the last return to Preston.
